Position:  Accountant

Location:  New England Area - Remote

Duties and Responsibilities:  New England Forestry Consultants, Inc. is seeking an organized, multi-tasking and self-starter Accountant for our offices in New England.   Primary job duties will be all aspects of accounting from bill paying to financial statement preparation.  This position plays a key role in all aspects of running a small business operation including managing cash flow, budgeting, payroll processing, 401(k) plan administration, human resources, and insurance coverages. 

Qualifications:  We are looking for a person with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.  A four-year accounting degree is preferred; however, a combination of course work and practical experience will be considered. Computer skills in Quickbooks Online, ADP Run Online, Banking Online, Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, as well as good verbal and written communication skills, are required. Experience using Claris/Filemaker is also desired.
